For Therapists

Given the complex emotional terrain explored in our work as psychotherapists, it’s natural that we sometimes get lost or overwhelmed. In these times, we may require outside guidance to break treatment impasses and deepen therapeutic alliances. I provide professional consulting for other therapists on a one-time or ongoing basis.

There are two overriding themes that I find most captivating in the work of a psychotherapist: mutual growth between therapist and client, and the ethic of therapist self-care in facilitating that growth. These themes are explored in the articles below and are a focus in my consultation work with fellow therapists.
